Treats for end of the year

I'd like to know what you all do for your students at the end of the year. I know some probably do treat bags with candy, pencils, etc. I'd really like to give students something personal that they could keep to remember 5th grade by. Please share your ideas!

I always get books for the kids and I write a special message in each one. I usually try to get an author we read that year that I know they enjoy. If I can't I do girl and boy books. Also always a little book mark too.

I make a video for each of them of the year and write each of them a letter from me. We also do a time capsule at the beginning of the year (it's just a sheet filled out with their favorites) and they get that back too.

I read "Have you filled a bucket today?" to my students and decided to do this for them.
This is the first year I've done it, but I had each student write something positive about each classmate. Once I compiled them all (and typed them to keep everything anonymous) I placed them in a bucket. I added my own positive thoughts and also included a few tokens from the year to help them remember to be proud of themselves and each other.
