I think you did an awesome job. You seemed to have covered many aspects of your classroom. If I had a child in your classroom, I would very much appreciate all of the information you put into this.

how often do you send one home. Two years ago, I sent one home weekly, but realized I just didn't always have enough to say. Last school year, I did it as needed. Just wondering how often you do it...

Thanks in advance!!

I was thinking of sending one home the last week of every month. I want to include the news, b-days, special events, and use at least two pages to showcase the students' writing.

I think you did a great job outlining your expectations for both students and teacers. As a parent, I really like the calendar feature so I can plan ahead, especially when it's something I need to get for the kids or attend myself.

This looks really good. It's very complete and informative and also has a nice look to it.
I like the clip art - can you tell us where to get it?

Thank you for the spell check. I will fix it right away and proof read again.
The clip art is completely free as long as it used for non profit. I have been using the clip art in most of the materials I created for my class this last school year. He also has a website with free powerpoints and templates. I love his stuff and he has updated the material a couple of times this last year. Here is the website in case anyone wants to use the clip art:

Very informative and fun! The only thing that was a bit hard to read was the text you used for the title. Love the clipart. Thanks for sharing!

I am a new teacher and I'm going to 'borrow' some of your ideas!! I am anxious to get mine put together and you did a great job.

My only thought on it is that parents may not know what 'ZPD' means. :-)

Thanks again for your post!!
