Need help!

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I have taught first grade for the past 3 years, but this year I am teaching a first/second ELD combo class. I was wondering if anyone had any advice they could give me. I'm a little nervouse because I have never taught a split class or ELD before. If anyone has any suggestions on how to teach both grade levels at the same time I would greatly appreciate it! All I know so far is that I am pushing out the second graders for math and any district testing, but what I need the most help is in teaching reading/vocabulary/grammar/writing for both grades when they are all in the room together. School starts next week, so I need help ASAP! Thank you :-)

I know it's not the same grade level, but reading the following thread may help you out too.
