Screening interview

When I registered to attend a job fair for next Friday, I was contacted about a "screening interview." Can anyone give me any information or advice on what to expect?
Also, I have never been to a job fair, what should I prepare as far as questions, portfolio, etc.?
Any advice would be helpful

A screening interview is generally just a basic list of questions they ask everyone-generally just background information (the famous, "tell me about yourself"), probably philosohphy of eduation type question, etc. Be friendly, be upbeat and be yourself.

Job fair is kind of like a cattle drive for people. Be prepared to be there with tons of other people, stand in line for hours and meet only a few districts (so pick and choose your top choices). They want you to be brief and concise. Don't hem and haw-know what you are going to say ahead, be clear and to the point. No portfolio-they don't want to see it-just a resume (on nice paper).

Possible questions:
-classroom management
-parent contact
-how do you teach reading (if you are elementary)
-why should we hire you?

I'm sure other people will have more. Good luck!
