Hello, hello!
I am moving from Kindergarten to fifth. I have been using "bee binders" and I love how easy they are..... I was wondering does anyone use them for fifth grade?

I saw a picture of someone who had an IPOD picture with their name on the playlist. I guess it stood for I'm Prepared and Organized Daily. Does anyone know where to get the IPOD picture to type your class name on?

Definitely yes! We use W.O.L.F- Well Organized Learning Folder.
Kids love it and parents love it.

Here you go! I actually really love that idea.
Personalized iPod

I've been using what I call G.R.E.E.N. Binders the past two years. The idea of them is fantastic, since my kids head to a separate junior high when they go to sixth grade and they have two classrooms with two different teachers. I tell them all year long that they will have to be organized so they do not lose their things between the two classrooms.

In 5th grade, we have sooooooo much paperwork! The kids who need it the most are the ones who just start shoving things in the front pockets of their binders about halfway through the year. The class also has to sit and wait for many of the kids to find the spot in their binder to put their papers when we change subjects and transition into something else. I LOVE the idea of them, but I don't think it is the right fit for me. So, next year I'm going to have each student get a pocket folder for each subject. Those will stay in their desk and they will pull them out when we need them and they can easily go home as well. I want to see how it ends up working out.

them for the first time this past year in fourth and they worked very well. I will be moving to fifth with the same group and plan on using them next year. There are always kids who need help with organization.
