Our district just purchased "Treasures" reading series. I have found supplimental materials for grades 1-4, but I was wondering if anyone had anything for 5th grade?

and our district gets one supplemental workbook per year. The series offers leveled workbooks for the weekly stories, a spelling workbook, and a grammar workbook. We prefer the grammar because we have foldable materials we use for the weekly stories. Treasures has a website by grade level which features different activities for the weekly stories, grammar, and spelling. If you will PM me I have another web site that features different Treasures activities.

What type of materials do you need? The series does come with additional workbooks for 5th grade as noted by the guest. I teach 5th and use this series, and just this year we are developing materials to go along with each weekly story. I am new to proteacher and I do not know if you can PM me. I will share these with you if you can PM me; if not I will try to link them when we finish.

There are some yahoogroups for the Treasures Reading Series. If you go to www.yahoogroups.com, then you can search for Treasures Reading. There are two active groups that you could join.

Hope this helps.

I was looking for things like the trifolds, dominoes, etc. I have taught this series to 3rd grade and 4th grade already. The materials that come along with the series are not enough. After working with this series for 2 years the kids are breezing through the workbooks and such too quickly.
