Any suggestion for G&T program

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hi All...what a great resource! Ive been asked to do the gifted and talented program next year (4th-6th grade). I would like to do a project each marking period. Any suggestions or ideas for projects? And are there any website/resources that provide lessons or project ideas? We are a small school with little funds so I think most of the resources will fall on me. Thanks

Envison from Mind Vine Press. I saw the material at a conference and Ian Byrd (www.byrdseed.com) tested it and wrote about it on his blog, so I asked for it. I will be using it with my third and fourth graders (they have curriculum for 3-5, so you could probably make it work for you), and our intermediate school will be using it with fifth.

It's VERY well organized, specifically designed for gifted students, and from what I can see just reading through, will work VERY well for a pullout program.

She is working on first, second, and sixth.. not sure why she did the middle first.. .

All the units are based off of Renzulli's Enrichment Triad Model and are subdivided into Type I, Type II, and Type III projects. I hope you'll be able to find something that would fit your needs!
