In the auditorium today because of the school carnival already set up in the gym.

Should be an interesting day; the band/orchestra teacher has been down about keeping the kids away from "her stuff."

She is teaching in the library today, library is closed for the day.

When that happens in my school, p.e. students go to the library and take a test. They bring books with and read when they are done.

We did bowling in front of the stage, Plans called for three lanes but there was enough equipment for four lanes; two per side. Any sub knows, idle children are the fastest ones to get into trouble. Bowlers bowled away from each other so there was no problem with knocking done of others pins. Only one problem child who claimed she could't bowl because her arm hurt. So I had her walk in loop around the auditorium until she got bored with that and decided to bowl.

I see a lot of schools that send classes to the auditorium or cafeteria when they can't get enough subs. Sometimes there is already a study hall or they move other study halls to those locations so one teacher can cover. I'm surprised they expected you to still have P.E. class and not just give students a study hall. OTOH, the majority would have come to the study hall with nothing to do.
