Preparing for a Reading Interventionist Position

Clip to ScrapBook #1

So I have an interview coming up for a position as a reading interventionist. A friend of mine said that she knows one of the questions that they will ask me, which I know the answers to, but I don't know how to condense it in a way that I don't ramble for hours. She said that they're going to ask me to give a brief definition about what I believe reading to be and what I believe reading instruction should look like. I'm thinking they're trying to see what reading philosophy I closed align with, which I know is more of a balanced approach (interactive model). I was wondering if I could possibly get some of your ideas of what you think about these questions and what your thoughts on them are. Thanks!!
