Update on broken leg

I went to the orthopedist again this morning. More x-rays. He says he can see new bone growth, which shows that the bone is healing. I can start weaning myself away from the walker, but keep it close by in case the knee gives way. I start physical therapy in 2 weeks, twice a week for 6 weeks. Luckily, they had a slot at 4:15 so it shouldn't interfere with school. It was as much as I was hoping for today.

That's encouraging news! It sure has taken a while to get to this point!

I hope you're feeling more encouraged by the news, as well! I'm glad the physical therapy is around the corner for you, too. Another step towards full recovery.

(Side note: It just occurred to me, if you had to write a composition for 'What I did during my pandemic quarantine,' you'd have quite a story to tell! )

I've thought about that composition, but decided it's better left unsaid.
