I posted a month ago about being first time kitten owners. I couldnít get a pic to post that day... so hereís one...

The question- the kitties ended up eating some of that chocolate frosting off the cake. Not much (nickel sized amount - between both). I know we should be looking out for sickness, but how concerned/alert should we be?

TIA

He should be fine. I think it’s a bigger concern if they eat dark chocolate.

He’s gorgeous!

Beautiful. I think the kitties will be fine with the chocolate. I assume like a dog they need to eat the equivalent of 1 square of Baker's chocolate.

My dog once ate one of those giant sized Hershey candy bars. It didn't hurt him. Well, he had diarrhea for a couple of days, but that's all. I think it needs to be dark chocolate to hurt them.

They're adorable. The higher the amount of cacao, the more dangerous it is to them. A little frosting is good for the soul. Mason loved Oreos. Of course, he loved all food.
