I am wanting to start literacy bags in my classroom and I need some ideas for activities in each bag. I have some ideas for each bag but I am struggling to come up with things for them to do besides read the books i will put in there.

Any help?

I like to use a variety of graphic organizers! some that focus on the child's reading level , things like story maps, character maps, word organizers etc. A great book Independent reading organizers for first grade. Great book with excellent lesson. I think you can get it through scholastic.
