Had a field trip today and came home frustrated. I had parents on their cell phones; parents more there to be friends to the students instead of helping with discipline; a parent sharing a bag of family size cheetos with only certain students and sneaking them under the table; a parent chanting and cheering, "Girls rule"; etc. Parents show up five minutes before we leave so I don't always have a chance to go over all the expectations. Does anyone have a "Code of Conduct" they use for their chaperones to read prior to a field trip? If so, are you willing to share so I can tweak to meet my needs?
