I have not done one thing right today

I'm just saying it's a good thing my supervisor isn't evaluating me because I would be fired. I've made some small mistakes and some whoppers. And, for some reason, I'm having a terrible time going between the two buildings. I've done it before with no issues. But, I can't get meeting dates right, I'm messing up invites, paperwork, etc. I think part of it is because I'm NEVER in the other building so it feels like I'm not there.

Whatever, it's been a hot mess and my supervisor is HOT.

I need to go home, snuggle Aikman and eat some peanut M and M's.

A sad, frustrated and worried GG

ETA: I got b!tched at for not sending an email. I went back and checked and I sent the email. Neither the P nor the AP got it done. Guess who's taking the hit on it? (Of course, I didn't follow up so it's still kind of my fault.)

Thinking of you GG. Two schools must be challenging as a SPED teacher. I was frequently challenged with just one school So glad you have Aikman to snuggle.

Well, darn. Talk about a bad day--but you can only think about it for five more minutes. After that it's time to move on. Tomorrow is definitely another day and I've heard that it's going to be an EXCELLENT day. Sun's out, love these temperatures, and Aikman's waiting.

You can't change what has already happened, but you can decide how to react: both feelings and actions. Sad, worried, frustrated. Or perhaps determined, optimistic, energized.

You can turn things around.

I'm so sorry. That is such a crappy feeling! It's bad enough when it truly is your mistake but so infuriating when it's not.

I hope Aikman and your M&Ms help soothe the pain, and tomorrow will be a better day. ((((hugs))))

I will add that the last time I messed up a ton of meetings between schools, I was pregnant. So....

such a hard day. Tomorrow will be a new better day!
I HATED it when I'd email, get no response, and then have it boomerang back to someone saying I never sent an email. I had that happen a few times over the years. It was a great feeling to find the old email and forward it to the accuser. Kind of a vindication!

Two weeks ago a student decided to get out of line and use the restroom as we left for specials. She got left behind. I come back to her and my new principal who was very pissed off (and already dislikes me). I had a mini pity party then moved on. My point is we all screw up but remember you are doing your best and remember this is a CRAZY year!!! Hugs to you I hope tomorrow is better!

Maybe the reason so many of us are making mistakes is that we are being asked to do too much in too short a period of time. Being at two schools accentuates the problem. I do not know how people who do not own dogs cope.
