Feeling Productive

My big accomplishment for the day? Getting my emails under 10,000
It's an account I use mostly for junk. But I still have a few important contacts who use the account (like my dad).
My current account is all cleared out. My school account? Well, that's for another day!

How in the world did you get over 10,000 emails. I'm surprised your account was even able to open. I can't imagine having to go through that many items. I think I would delete them without reading taking the chance I didn't miss anything important. After all they are probably old.

I had access to a friends school accout, OMG I don't know how many emails she had but there were ones from our former P who had passed away more than 5 years ago.

I need to do that. I am bad for not deleting emails in case I need them... And yes I have been able to search for needed emails years later. My husband deletes every email immediately. He has deleted emails he needed.

klarabelle, you made me think of this....I laugh at it every time. Those little red numbers make twitchy, but I have a friend whose email looks like the one on the right.

I will never understand you people.

Emails

My personal email account has over 22,000 unread emails. I started the summer with twice as many and I'm slowly deleting them.
I usually check email on my phone and it's so much easy to delete emails on my computer.
My goal is to reach "0" emails by September.

My DD cries every time she sees my emails because I'm in the 10k+ club!

I get do many emails a day and I do delete many as they come in from my phone, but it's not enough apparently

OMG!!!! I had about 600 already read emails still in my inbox in my school account and thought that was a lot haha!

One of the first things I did during remote learning was get all my emails that weren't already in folders into folders or deleted. As new things came in I read them and deleted them or put them in a folder.

I'm proud to say that I haven't had more than 15 emails in my inbox since mid-march.

My work account got backed up at the end of the year because I got hundreds of emails, texts, and messages every single day with the virtual school situation.
This 10,000+ account is one I only check maybe once a week. I have to skim through them to pick out anything I actually need. I got behind. Obviously
