Being a parent of a student at the school you teach at can be ugly sometimes!

Today I finally sent off an email to the prince and assistant prince

My daughter is a senior and is getting the raw end of something that seems to be never ending! I am demanding some answers..ack! I hate getting like this...

I used my personal email and prefaced the email ... I am sending this as a parent...hopefully I will get some positive answers!

It is a negative thing and waiting for positive results! ugh!

We are planning to avoid that. Luckily both DH and I work in districts that are not our "home" or address district. Many teachers I work with bring their children to school at my school. It can make it tricky for the teachers and the parents.

Even thought I love my school, I will be sending DS to his "home" school. He can go with his neighborhood friends.

I hope your situation gets resolved quickly.

Your approach is smart (the parent/personal email). I hope you get the results you need! I have been frustrated by being in the same school before and having issues.

You did the right thing by addressing this problem! Good luck and hoping you get some positive answers and solutions. Our kids always went to school with me and I had to do something similar (involving the teachers though rather than administration) when DD was in fifth grade. It was a hard thing to do, but I am glad I addressed it. As a parent you really have no other choice.
