I quit!

So, I've been awol for a bit since my surgery last month, but I took a big step today so it's update time:

1) I quit my job this afternoon. HR was making my life a living hell, the anxiety that going back to work was causing wasn't worth it, and I'm physically not up to dealing with 6 kids with severe autism right now. It was what I needed to do for me.
2) Pathology on my appendix came back showing scarring and chronic appendicitis (take that, Doctor who told my family that my symptoms were psychosomatic!), but we still have to get a look at my small intestine and they won't do that study til 2 months post op, so have to wait a bit longer. Still dealing with pain, but not as constant, which is a positive!
3) I got a new job! I'll be working with toddlers! It's closer to home, lower stress, and something I feel that I can manage right now. I start Monday!

Alternating between anxiety and excitement. And the butterflies aren't helping my recovering stomach, lol. Maybe I'll be around a bit more now, can't wait to see what everyone's up to!

I'm glad you could leave the stressful job and find a new one that is less stressful.

I hope all of your health issues can be addressed completely and you will have a full recovery soon.

So glad to hear that things are looking up for you. I'm wishing you all the best with everything!

Congratulations on the new job! I pray your health continues to improve and that you continue to get answers. I am still so angry for you that your former district treated you so badly. I am so happy that things are looking up!

The new job sounds great! Toddlers are at least cute, even if they can be a challenge too!
