Are you being observed in all 3 areas?

If you can choose one area, choose the one where students can be engaged the most.
Use strategies such as turn and talk, choral response or games such as scoot.

Also if you can have students help you create anchor charts for future use in your topic.

I guess it would depend on if you are doing introductory or review lessons in each subject.

I hope this helps. I would be glad to give more suggestions if you are interested.

All 3 are going to be observed? Wow! That is a lot.

For fractions, I just did the fraction museum in my class and it was a huge success. Google it. (I teach 2nd).

I sure hope you do not have to have an evaluation in all those areas. My last one I did was on adverbs. I gave each one a picture, clip art, or an object. They had 3 minutes to work with a partner to come up with 5 words that described their thing. Then they took their words and made sentences with them. Eventually each one made a whole story from them.

Hope this helps.

Curious as to what lesson you did and how your observation went.
