Old Murder, She Wrote Episode

So I'm watching an old Murder, She Wrote episode and there's this amazingly young, good looking guy and I think he looks familiar.

I look him up and it's Jim Caviezel.

I love watching old tv shows and seeing people who were no one's then and are famous now.

Yes, the other day Adam Driver was on an old Law & Order episode!

That's cool. That's what I like about the old Law & Order series, you can find big names now from when they were "nobodies". I realized Jennifer Garner was the girl Ray Curtis had his 1 day affair with. Enjoy the show and Jim.

Oh yeah, Law and Order is a gold mine. Ellen Pompeo played a teenager who killed her mother.

I do, too!! I've seen so many. It's really trippy when it's a young child who is now a full-grown adult and I'm thinking, "wow, there is something familiar about that kid..." but it's sad when I look up someone who I remember and find out they died of an overdose or an accident at a very young age. I also get bummed watching old shows where the characters are all dead (or almost all dead) now (even if they lived very long lives).

Ditto.

I’m watching an old series on Prime- “Everwood.” A teenage Chris Pratt is in it. I had no idea it was even him until I checked the cast.

I watched that same episode and thought it was him. I had to google it to make sure!

I love to watch Streets of San Francisco for that very reason.

And the cute little neglected girl was Hayden Panettiere! She was great! This thread reminds me that when I read the play program for shows I go to in my city, I will always find several actors who call out their L and O experience.

I occasionally watch Perry Mason and was amazed to see a very young Robert Redford in one episode.

And then years later she was on it again and she was the killer. It was great seeing her so young and then as a teenager. They did a whole day of back to back episodes with people who were on twice.

My dh watches the Andy Griffith show ALL.THE.TIME. We were watching one of the "newer" ones, and I thought I recognized one of the episode's characters. Sure enough, it was Jack Nicholson! I found out he'd done two episodes, but I didn't recognize him in the other.

And seeing familiar actors. Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote often have the same actors.
