Meal tracker app?

I am looking for a free/cheap app that can help me track calories. I'd like it to be as easy as possible. For example, if I have a Yoplait cherry yogurt, I want to be able to type that in and have it pop up with total calories. Any apps like this?

I use MyfitnessPal, which allows you to also scan barcodes and most things will pop up!

I like Myfitnesspal. It has the ability to scan items, so that keeps you from having to type them in. It also keeps it in there so if you eat the same thing the next day, you can just swipe it and it adds it to that meal.

That's the easiest free one.

Myfitnesspal is super easy to use. Fair warning though, double check that calories are correct if that's important to you. Since everything is user submitted, it's possible that they got the calories wrong. Also, sometimes companies change the food so something that used to be 50 calories is now 100 and so on.

Another vote for MFP! I was going to say the same thing as the pp; double check that the calories are right. Sometimes nutrition facts change over time for packaged foods and sometimes users just enter the wrong thing. I always double check the package just to make sure I've got the calories right before choosing that entry. After you use it for a few weeks it should get much easier/quicker because you'll recognize the correct entries right away, or you can find the correct entry in your recent/frequently used entries.

You can also put recipes in on My Fitness Pal and figure out the number of servings so you know the calorie count per serving.
