Gift from baby

My dd is expecting her second child the first week of September. She would like to purchase a small gift from the baby to give to her other child a 2 1/2 year old daughter. Anyone ever done this and if not then does anyone have any ideas?

Do they know if it is a boy or girl?

I would buy a book about a brother or sister I think.

Or maybe a BIG SISTER tee

We did for my kids. We took older DD to the store and helped her look for things that said “sister” on them. She bought baby a onesie that said “best little sister” and a picture frame that said “Me and my Big sister”.

We did this. New baby sent big sister a baby doll to take care of this. Now 21 years later, that big sister did the same thing with her 2 year old and new born.

We did and it ended up being one of the best things we did. At the time our oldest loved The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so we bought one of the turtles and gave it to him on the day we brought baby home as a gift from baby.

Thanks read2day.. DGD loves little figures so the Ninja turtles got me thinking about Little People. They have a Little People Babies Cuddle and Play Nursery. In stock at Toys R Us. I will pick it up tomorrow. She will love it. Thanks everyone for your ideas. Pro Teacher is the best!
