I've been so used to watching things on Netflix and Amazon Prime that now when I watch things on regular tv, I find myself reaching for the remote to pause when the phone rings, trying to rewind if I missed something or want to hear something again, etc.

Haha!! My kids were so confused the first time they saw regular TV on vacation.
They were super upset that they had to watch commercials.

We have Dish Network satellite TV. We get our local network channels through Dish too. We can pause and rewind live TV. DH always pauses the TV during the local news if there is a story he think I want to hear and I'm not in the room.

I do that too! I watch everything on streaming except for the news and Colbert when it's a new show. Sometimes I even press my remote several times wondering why it's not pausing before I realize what I'm doing!

We have a dvr so we can pause, rewind or fast forward regular tv. Itís when weíre at hotels that I realize how much I use those features!

I'm really annoyed by Hulu, since I can't forward the commercials on life TV (and they are SO long) or on many of the recorded things (which I don't get- we are paying a lot for the live version- trying it out this month).

Otherwise, we have TIVO (and live TV from the antenna) and it automatically skips the commercials for most recordings and our other streaming is all no commercials.

It's like when I try to turn a page of the book by tapping in the corner. That reminds me I've read too many ebooks. Worse yet is why I try to increase the text or something or look for the search button on a physical paper document
