FB memories

I just love FB memories. Itís so fun to see what pops up in my feed and fondly recall whatever was happening. 4 years ago Peanut came so thatís been fun to see, Molly did her last blood donation and Mason and Molly went swimming 3 years ago today for the first time (before I broke Mason ).

Does anyone else really enjoy seeing all the great memories theyíve had pop up on FB?

I always love seeing the memories that popped up. I post a lot of photos of travels and visits with friends. Unfortunately 2 years ago I got hacked and had to open a new account. I was so bummed about losing those memories. (not really lost of course) but FB made it so easy.

If i'm up past midnight (which is most nights) I check it right away.

If not, I look first thing in the morning. My kids love to see the memories, too.

Yes! I love to check my Facebook memories. I love to see the things I was doing in the past and how little my boys were. This summer it's been kind of a bummer to look at them though. I tell my husband all the time - look at the fun memories we had before covid when we actually had a life and left the house. I am hoping by next summer we will be out and about again making more memories!

I love the memories. These days I especially like the shots of friends/family/me with our arms casually and lovingly slung around each other. I know many PT posters have gone back to normal lives, but I can’t imagine even seeing my friends, let alone being near enough for a hug. Oh yes, I love those pics—and right now they sustain me.

FB memories is my favorite part of FB besides interacting with friends. Sometimes Iíll post something almost just so I get the memory later.

I do too except lately, because my husband and I post a lot of things on summer vacations, I have been getting a lot of memories about trips we were on and I think, ah the good old days when we were able to travel.

My favorite feature! Seeing all the past summer adventures is bittersweet right now.

If I have a day where no memories pop up because I never posted anything on that date then I try to make it a point to post something so I'm not disappointed again the following year.

My phone will pop up with pictures of years past. That's always fun! (I don't have FB).

Peanut was four YEARS ago?? That seems impossible!

I used to enjoy looking at them. Recently I have had to stop because I get too sad missing my "real" life- previous summers when I was out socializing and doing fun things. Especially with no end in sight to any of this.

Two years ago, Dh and were in Louisville for a few nights seeing Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper, drinking bourbon, and exploring the city.

Three years ago we were on an epic roundtrip to Indiana to see my sisters. I miss them so much!

One year ago I was on my solo Disney trip (that my sons still don't know about and apparently I only told H about it after I got there).

Two years ago I was in Trinidad.

6 years ago I was in Disney with my then-9-year-old before my younger son even existed.
