Shampoo recommendations

As we head back to school, I will be washing my hair nightly. I color my hair but it just wonít hold up to the amount of washing that will be happening.

I have mid back length, super, super thick hair. The texture is on the fine side with some wave. I air dry and use no products except sometimes I need a detangling spray.

Any recommendations for a shampoo/conditioner that wonít strip color? Or color that lasts? I need at least 2 boxes for my amount of hair.

I started using Lanza awhile ago and will never go back to anything else. Itís made my hair thicker, shinier and healthier. They have a line for color treated hair. I highly recommend it.

Keratone clenditioner has a variety of color-depositing shampoos that, depending on the color of your hair, could prevent early fading.

I have been using it since March or April for my purple hair, and my hair still looks decent. It's not as good as if I could go to the salon again or if I did a DIY color job, but it's not terrible.

I use Biolage. I have blonde highlights and use a purple shampoo once a week to keep the highlights from getting brassy. I also use once a week a hair mask by Kerastase, which is seriously LIFE.

I use Tressa Watercolors (available on Amazon). It is a color depositing shampoo and it comes in many different shades. When I use it, it's maybe twice a week and on the other days, I use the Color Defense sulfate free shampoo from Sally.

I try hard not to wash every day and that's made a huge difference in helping keep the color. I use Batiste Dry Shampoo on the in between days. I hardly have to use the color depositing shampoo anymore.

I prefer going a few days between shampoos but no way am I going to bed with school germ covered hair. Iím planning on hopping in the shower immediately after getting home.

My stylist recommended Joico Color Endure to my daughter and she really likes it.

I have found that professional products last far longer than the drug store variety (one needs to use less), so the cost is a wash.

Wells Briilance for fine, color treated hair. I purchase mine on Amazon

I use Pureology shampoo and conditioner. I use the moisturizing and blonde. My hair has improved significantly since I started using them. I donít wash my hair every night. I wash every other night as per my stylistís recommendation. That has also made a difference. I have highlights and very dry hair.
