Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am starting an art club after school for k-3 kids. I am looking for some fun projects that I can do with the kids. I have been searching on the internet and have found a few things, but I have hit a wall. I am trying to find different projects that they can do. Any help would be appreciated.

Also try the incredible art department (google this title). Just a few ideas i will throw out there, collograph prints, rubbings, collage of nature items, do a near and far study using large and small concept (large grasshoper with a small mountain in the background).

Clip to ScrapBook #4

For an after school art class I had one year, we painted birdhouses. It was fun and the kids loved it! Some of the students gave the birdhouses to a sibling for a birthday, and since it was the end of the year, some of the birdhouses were given as Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts. I bought non-pained birdhouses at Michael's and we used acrylic paints. They had so much fun with this project and it was a great project for our class since we had students from a variety of grades, from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. So, it wasn't too hard for the Kindergartners and too easy for the older students.
