Clip to ScrapBook #1

I want to know how other teachers in California are handling this problem. When I renewed my credential, I found out that the commission no longer mails out paper credentials. Since most applications request a copy of the credential, I'm not sure how to supply it. The only one I have has expired and the one I can print from the commission website gives no real information. Any ideas?

Print out your renewed credential and save as a PDF on your hard drive and keep a hard copy. That's what I had to do when I cleared my credential because the state no longer printed them or mailed out hard copies.

Thank you lv2read. I've tried printing it out from the website, but it loses its formatting.

You gave me another idea and it worked. I sent the entire web page not just the part regarding the credential to the distiller and created a pdf of the whole thing. Thank you for your help.

They do the same thing in NY (for originals also) not just renewing...but it's really simple to look up & that's all a potential employer needs to do...it's easy in California too...& they are supposed to know where to look.
