We've got the old Andy Griffith Christmas episode on. You know, the one where the old grouch keeps trying to get arrested. I love it.

When it's over, I'll take over the TV and find the Christmas Story marathon.

I'd love to see Roots again too. I remember my mom letting me stay up to watch it. It was captivating.

Andy Griffith is over so we are now putting the Jingle All the Way dvd on. If we watch another I'm voting for Christmas With the Kranks.

I remember watching Roots when DH and I first got married. Shows how old we are. We were glued to the TV for a week, watching the miniseries every evening.

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings.

DH started watching earlier and is finishing it. I cannot stand LotR, Hobbit, or Star Wars. To his credit, he did ask before turning it on if he could finish watching it as we have only one TV in the house.

Nothing! I don't think the TV has been on today. I did watch "Love Actually" last night while wrapping gifts and drinking wine, but that was a DVD.

I used to love the old Andy Griffith shows. Esp. the whistling intro.

Just discovered that 1) my mother gets BBC America, and 2) BBCA is having a Dr. Who marathon basically from now until Thursday. My holiday TV-watching just got a whole lot better! (Just as soon as I can get them to make "It's a Wonderful Life" stop!)

I have finally finished "W is for Wasted." I got it from the library along with several other items and will be happy to send it back before it is due, unlike a few times this past year when I have had to pay overdue fines. I love reading but usually just borrow books from the library, download them in audiobook form or get ebooks on my nookcolor.
I have at least 5 paperbacks on an end table waiting for me to read them. I love long breaks for just this purpose!
