Bruschetta Bread Substitue

I haven’t been here much but need your help. Having my parents over for Christmas dinner. Making stuffed shells with zucchini and carrots, salad, and bruschetta.

For the bruschetta, last few years I used Ciabbatta bread but didn’t like it as much. Thinking maybe using Texas Toast or something premade. What do you all suggest?

TIA!

I use a baguette also. My grocery store sells them and they're the perfect size. Bruschetta is meant to be a finger food so in my opinion, using texas toast would be too big--but if that's what the family likes then go for it and enjoy

I, too, have always had it on a sliced baguette. You could use regular sized sour dough bread if you want bigger pieces.

French bread cut in small slices. Toast and put bruschetta on top.

Use French bread cut at an angle so the slices are bigger. Toast lightly and enjoy!

I have seen it done on melba toast. Comes in a box in the grocery store.
