My face hurts

I feel bad complaining about this considering everything else going on, but my face hurts. Itís on the left side by my eye. It started as just now and then, now itís constant and spreading. I donít see anything, no redness, no swelling, nothing.

Itís not COVID related, I have no other symptoms. Itís the weirdest thing.

Maybe sinus infection? You might want to check with your doctor.

Could it be allergies? Any outside activity today?

Interesting you should post this.

A friend posted similar...stared out with sore face. Went into bad earache. Face swelled. She went to ER. Blocked and swollen gland in neck & and was close to being septic.

Please keep an eye on things and if it gets worse, please get checked.

Interesting you say this because my ear is bothering me. Itís hurting on the outside of my face (ear side) and itís more of a sharp pain, not a pressure pain like youíd find with a sinus infection.

It could be allergies, but my thoughts are if it doesn't feel better with pain reliever in the next 48 hours or gets worse before then it's time to get it checked out

Your symptoms seem a bit odd. I agree you should have it checked out. We all need a place to whine. Good luck!

Mine does that when I have sinus issues and ear issues ( Eustachian tube swollen/not draining )at the same time. For me, taking Zyrtec-D helps. You have to request it and show your drivers license at the pharmacy. I bet you can do it all with just a drive-through instead of going inside.

I have gone to urgent care with it and regular doctor with no answers because they could see nothing when they looked inside my ear even though I was having pain. A visit to an ENT discovered that the eustachian tube was not draining.

Please take care of yourself and keep us posted !

Sometimes I get that if I

have been clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth together. It can be a pain in my cheekbone or shift to my ear depending on which tooth has had the pressure lately. I wear a splint at night to prevent clenching and sometimes have to wear it during the day if I am under extreme stress. I have more than once thought I had a tooth that needed a root canal, but the pain was just due to clenching on the tooth. Another thought is that perhaps a tooth has a cavity or has an infection? It might also be a tear duct that is clogged? Agree if the pain increases or begins to show swelling or throbbing, you should get it checked out right away. Don't wait till Friday afternoon, especially these days when office hours may have changed at dental or general medical practices.

Tooth issue?

Sometimes with mouth/face it can be difficult to figure out the source of the problem.

If it continues, call your doctor in the morning. But it sure would be nicer if it disappeared as mysteriously as it came. No temperature?

Does your insurance cover something like TelaDoc where you can call and tell your symptoms by phone?
