I can't do it

My youngest got her permit yesterday. I don't think I can do this again. She is my most easy going kid, but she's already not talking to me. I probably do overreact, but she cannot tell me that what she's doing is "fine". I have driven for over 30 years, and she's driven for 5 minutes. She has no frame of reference for "fine"

I need prayers and possible medication to get through this.

Oh the things they don't teach in 'prenatal class'. Live long enough and you get see them teach their kids to drive.

I get it! I think my most stressful times with my daughter were when she was learning to drive.

I have done 2 out of my 3 kids- not looking forward to the last one (he can get his permit in 9 months). Id rather toilet train than teach them to drive.....

I love my kids. BUT... I refused to teach them to drive!! My nerves would not have handled it! I passed that chore to my hubby.

I am so with you! Training new drivers must be one of the worst parts of parenting. My town has narrow roads with cars parked on either side and lots of bikers. I need a massage every time I get out of the car!
