2. Driving and walking just to get out of the house!
3. Not really right now. I have in the past, though.
4. I like grapefruit juice, especially with vodka.

1.) What is the longest that youíve ever driven for a trip? We enjoy road trips. So from NE Ohio to Seattle was one. And another was to Albuquerque.
2.) During the past few months, have you taken a drive around the neighborhood just to get out of the house? Yes, we have.
3.) Do you save up your spare change for anything special? We have several jars. Lately we use it to teach our granddaughter counting money skills!
5.) Describe this past week using one word. Wonderful!
4.) Do you have a favorite kind of juice? Not a juice drinker at all.

1. New Hampshire to Minnesota, during a heat wave, with three children ages 2, 7, and 15.

2. I went a little further than the neighborhood, because I walk the neighborhood every day.

3. I save change in the car in case I go to the "city" and need money for the parking meter. Once I take it to the change machine at the bank, I put it in my jar for egg money and paying kids who do odd jobs for me.

4. No. I usually drink V8 because other juices are too sugary.

5. Roller coaster.

1. I drove from my home state to here when I first moved here, but my dad was with me and did some of the driving too-1200 miles. I've always said I'll never do it again/I've always flown since when visiting, but the pandemic has me rethinking that. As much as I hate the idea it would be much safer than flying as far as risk of exposure. I'm not worried about myself, but my parents are in a higher risk category.

2. Not just to get out of the house, but for awhile there I was taking about a 20 minute drive once per week just to make sure my car battery didn't die.

3. I almost never use cash, so I don't typically have a lot of change. I am saving up my credit card rewards for new work clothes for the fall- assuming we go back to in person learning and I have somewhere to wear said clothes. I've lost enough weight that my previous pants especially don't fit at all.

4. I've never liked juice.

5. Different

Longest trip: Cross country from California to Maine and back. We took our two dogs and made stops along the way to visit family and friends. Trip was a month long.

Driving neighborhood to get out of house: No, but I have driven to the post office drop box a few times just to get out and about. 25 miles round trip.

Saving change: We do save our spare change but not for anything special. Sometimes we use it to go to the movies or out to dinner.

Favorite juice: Not a juice drinker.

Past week descriptor: Pleasant.

1. In high school we took a band trip to march in a parade in Chicago. I live in South Georgia. We rode on school busses and I remember feeling car sick and being cold most of the drive.

2. Yes! Several times.

3. We usually count and deposit the money in our spare change jar around vacation time each summer. We aren’t doing anywhere this year, so I guess we will just keep saving until next summer.

4. orange juice

5. Hectic (we moved this week)

1.) What is the longest that youíve ever driven for a trip?
I don't fly, so anywhere we go is by car, train or ship. We've driven to just outside Portland OR twice, once when we lived in TN and once from SW FL. It's about 3200 miles from here, not counting all the side trips we did on the way...Oh, that looks cool, and off we go to check it out!
2.) During the past few months, have you taken a drive around the neighborhood just to get out of the house?
No drives, but many walks.
3.) Do you save up your spare change for anything special?
Not really
4.) Do you have a favorite kind of juice?
Pineapple or cran/apple
5.) Describe this past week using one word.

1.) What is the longest that youíve ever driven for a trip? 10 hours. We used to drive from NJ to Ohio when we were into collecting Longaberger baskets.

2.) During the past few months, have you taken a drive around the neighborhood just to get out of the house? Not randomly, but to go to the grocery store or the post office or some other errand. My neighbor and I alternate whose car we use.

3.) Do you save up your spare change for anything special? Yes. I have a change jar and the change is used to pay for gas and incidentals on vacations.

4.) Do you have a favorite kind of juice? Not really. I am not much of a juice drinker. I would say cranberry, tomato or pomegranate if I had to choose.

5.) Describe this past week using one word. Dull. (We are opening up in Phase 2, but I am in an older age group and am trying to be careful).

1. NE Wisconsin to Banff. I visited family on the way so didn't take the most direct route but went through South Dakota, Wyoming and crossed the border from Montana.

2. Just once, and it wasn't due to restlessness but due to noise. A neighbor decided to take down a big tree in his yard and then saw it up for wood. After three hours of listening to the chainsaw I had to have a break.

3. No. I actually don't have much spare change anymore since I rarely use cash.

4. I don't drink juice.

5. Active

1. We've driven from Arizona to IL in two days. When we came home we did the same. The "worst" we did was drive from AZ to San Diego and back in ONE day! We were helping our Navy son move his wife back before he shipped out for the last time. We had a mattress on the top of our truck and had to drive slower than usual back from SD. That was a long day. For the record, it takes 6 hours to drive there.

2. No, because I got "out" by grocery shopping.

3. Nope

4. Orange juice

5. Slow
