Just binged

I feel awful. For the second time, I binged on desserts tonight. I am doing Nutrisystem, and raided my freezer for the cakes and muffins. I don't even want to know how many calories that was. And here I was down 9 pounds. What a crappy feeling.

I am sorry that this happened to you. Life is hard right now so I understand how the binge could happen. Its done, reflect on what might have triggered it, and write it down and forget about it.

I ordered Nutrisystem the other day and when I saw the desserts I am a little scared.

Here's one thing I finally learned during my probably 100th (AND LAST) diet...

Just look at today as a temporary day off from your diet and get right back on the good eating bandwagon tomorrow. Do some extra exercise and let go of the guilt. In the past, when I succumbed to a binge, I would feel bad and go off the diet altogether. I've learned to look at every day as a new beginning.

Good luck!

Can I recommend the Half Size Me podcast? She deals with this topic a lot.

Binging can have many causes. It could be a response to deprivation or something emotional. I know many people prefer diets, but I read Intuitive Eating and it helped me become more at peace with my body. I know it's not for everyone though.
