So now Iím paranoid . . .

My BFF asked if I thought I had COVID-19. I googled symptoms, knowing I should not do that.
  • headache
  • nausea
  • fatigue
  • fever
  • chills

Of course, those are also symptoms of like 90% of other random illnesses.

Now Iíve convinced myself that my UTI is better, but Iíve contracted COVID-19 along the way. The clinic where I went for my UTI meds does drive-up testing, so I may just go be tested.

No, actually. I don't think you're being paranoid.

Yes, your symptoms match those of Coronavirus. Yes, you could have Coronavirus. Yes, you definitely need to be tested for it. Not paranoia, just reality. Get tested.

Always best to know for sure! Someone I know thought she had Covid and was thrilled to find out it was *only* pneumonia. What a strange world we live in.

Hope it's negative! I agree, in times like this any suspicious symptoms warrant testing. Just in case.
I was reading the transcript of Dr. Fauci 's most recent interview, and he said, the really tricky thing about this virus is how quickly it goes from zero, to really serious. So, not something to wait around on! Glad you were able to get an appointment so quickly!

I hope you feel better soon! Glad you're getting tested. Always good to be cautious. Yes, it could be just about anything, but it could also be Covid, and it would be important to know. Sorry you're feeling crappy.

Hope you feel better soon!

Any time I've felt a little "off", my first thought is COVID. If you're paranoid, you're in good company. I think most of us have had those thoughts!

I pray that it's negative. 🙏 Please keep us updated!!

I also have felt the same concern. I've had random headaches, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. I suffer from seasonal allergies, so who knows? I went for a test on Monday, have not gotten the results yet.

That's what I was thinking when you posted yesterday. I hope you take care of yourself, and that you feel better soon. My husband and I have now recovered from Covid19. It's no fun!

Yea, get tested.

It's so frustrating because this pandemic, the closures, the nightly news reports, the masks, the uncertainty trigger so much anxiety (or even just garden-variety stress). Not sure how you all exhibit stress, but for me it's headaches, stomach aches, tiredness (probably due to not sleeping well). I even have had a sore throat due to acid reflux due to stress. Ugh. There are plenty of days since March I've just not felt well. But, thankfully, nothing scary...

I am taking my temperature daily and so far, no fever.

The antibiotic has given me awful heartburn which is contributing to my nausea. My back hurts, which could be my bulging disc, my UTI, or just laying in bed. Iím always worried because Iíve had kidney failure in the past. Iím probably dehydrated because Iíve felt yucky and not been drinking much. I did get a tick bite earlier in the summer so Iím also concerned about Lyme disease. Just for fun Iíve got an infected mosquito bite thatís about the size of a golf ball.

I am going to ask the doctor to
  • culture urine
  • check kidney function levels with bloodwork
  • test for Lyme disease
  • maybe increase my anxiety meds

With those symptoms I would definitely be tested or....self quarantine for 14 days.

I hope whatever is going on, you feel better SOON!
