Reasons for Murder

There are many reasons I may one day murder DH

Top of the list today is him LOUDLY saying "Huh?" whenever someone says anything. You don't have to be louder for us, YOU are the one who can't hear. And it would help if you would turn off those stupid loud fans you have running everywhere. We have a/c that is working just fine.

He's just all around being extra annoying today

Mine always asks me something as he's walking away from me or when I'm halfway out the door.

A friend and I joke about a couple of old rugs we both own. The person who needs to wrap up a body gets it, no questions asked. And we will help each other transport the “rug”.

This is my week for the rug.

My husband insists on holding conversations with me from across the house, but then gets angry if someone tries the same thing. "I can't hear you. Wait until you're in the same room with me to talk." Really? Don't you think it works both ways?

I got to drive mine to get his blood drawn today because he refuses to get a phone that he can use easily. I get all of his text notifications.

No judgements....but shouldn’t we sign out first and then say what we feel. Just trying to cover up...I mean trying to be helpful.
BTW, I have an old area rug. I think I might need to get rid of it soon.

MY DH starts talking to me before he gets my attention. My thoughts are often elsewhere or I'm listening to an audiobook or something. I miss the first half of everything he says.

He also likes to speak to me through walls and around corners. Is this a guy thing?

I've got a utility trailer - we could just make one big trip. This morning one of the cats decided that 5:15 would be a good time for breakfast, and started wandering around the house crying (loudly) about it. Dh thought the right thing to do was wake me up and ask me to go feed her. He was wrong. He's not normally like that, so I'm chalking it up to a one-off, but sweet Jesus I wanted to clobber him.

(And no, I didn't feed the cat.)

All. the. time. And when I stop him and have him repeat it, he starts in the middle with what I already heard. And then he gets mad because I STILL have no friggin idea who or what he is talking about.

You deserve an award for not killing him!

My DH and I just retired together! I am finding that he does the talking thing too.

He also follows me around like a puppy dog and constantly checks in with me to see what I am doing<!--eyebrow-

It's going to be a LONG retirement unless I get him trained quickly!

My BIL is like that. But worst than the loud talking is all the fans going with the a/c. I can't stand the noise.
