I am wondering if anyone has any ideas to use with the book, Interrupting Chicken?

I used this book to introduce sequencing/ plot flow map and review narrative elements with my fourth grade class. (It's really cute and made them giggle; I read with a really high-pitched voice for the chick and deep voice for the father.)
I also did a quick text to self/ text to text connection review.
Additionally, I had read aloud Doreen Cronin's The Trouble with Chickens, so we compared/ contrasted the chicks in that book with the chick in Interrupting Chicken.
