So I already put up my new border when school got out in late May. It's a dog theme ("hot diggity dog"). Super cute for 2nd grade.

NOW I saw this anchor border and am thinking of changing it out (silly me!). I LOVE anchors and red/white/blue colors.

I don't "decorate" my room theme-wise. I do the border and there might be some things around that reflect the border (i.e. if I did owls, there are some owl days of week posters that have owls, etc).

Change or stay? Thoughts....

(and it won't take long to switch it out...only about 15 minutes, so that's not a problem).

I struggle with decorating decisions too. We spend so much time in our rooms that we need to be happy there too.

I did a dog theme in my second grade class one year and they loved it. It's been several years, and I don't remember much of what I did, but they enjoyed it.

A co-worker of mine does a dog theme and uses the word "PAWS"-atively.
