You are louder than a marching band
You are softer than a rose petal,

You are funnier than a clown
You are better dance than Michel Jackson
You are the greatest storyteller that ever lived.

You are better singer than Elton John, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Steven Tyler, Tyler Swift,Beyonce and Bono ALL PUT TOGETHER.
YOU ARE composer and lyric changer.

You are lost like a traveler without a compass
you are always amending more than the constitution.
Sometimes you wonder if you are letting them down,
Sometimes you wonder if you are teaching them the right way


Sometimes YOU wonder if you are a joke.

Just like when you started in August, when the leaves were all green, it was all good.
Put then the leaves started to fall and but the tree next to you is all good even though the wind is blowing HARD and COLD.
Right now there are on leaves on your tree, but the next tree is still green, like it’s STILL SPRING.
but soon yours will grow again BETTER than EVER , all GREEN , all NEW all GOOD.
Don’t be afraid to let your leaves FALL, don’t stop your TREE from going leafless, because only then can it GROW a NEW one.

This was very inspirational and reassuring. Sometimes us teachers are in rough patch and second guessing our decision to teach. This poem reminds me and i'm pretty sure other teachers that I am doing what I love and I am supposed to be here. This poem reminds me of my purpose and goals I set for myself in the education world. Remember teachers, "don't be afraid to let your leaves FALL," we will see the "GREEN" again.
