Clip to ScrapBook #1

This my first year in third grade and I want to get my kiddos a small gift. We have been only remote all year but they are such a great group. We have a supply pick up at the end of November so I need to get cracking. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Sandy

Go to the dollar store and get holiday pencils/erasers/pencil sharpeners.

Years ago, I also found some bookmarks on line (black and white). I colored them, ran them on cardstock on the color copier at school, laminated them, and cut them out. You can write a message on the back before or after you laminated them.

That bookmark idea is cool! I used to give homework passes to my 4th and 5th graders Free and they loved it. I also once or twice got a huge pack of mechanical pencils and gave them each one. I rarely gave gifts, but when I did, I wasn't spending much -if any- money.

Homework passes, Dollar Tree items and candy canes. I have also made bookmarks by writing their names on card stock in my best cursive handwriting. I then laminated them and added a ribbon at the top.

I order the $1 books from scholastic. Easy and the kids like it.

My mom would make for me cupcakes and the students liked them. 1 year I also bought them gloves, the stretch kind from the dollar store. My students didn't seem to like the books I got them from Scholastic, but that could have been the class I had that year. This from Atlas School Store was popular. You use to be able to get the pencils imprinted with students' names. https://www.atlasschoolstore.com/sta...em=900227&pv=1

The other day I asked the kids "what would you do if you found $100?" I told them that if I found that much money I'd buy them all a hot apple cider from Starbucks. They all got SO excited. I started thinking about buying them a gift card from Starbucks that I could send to them digitally. I know that's $100 but honestly, I've spent more buying crap at the dollar store for them in the past.
