I would love to. I suspect the cost, even if it’s virtual, is out of my budget. Attending one is on my teaching bucket list.

Slightly off topic: my new district is Canvas and not Google and I’m in mourning.

GG, I use Canvas in my district. Unfortunately we havenít ever been allowed to use Google.

If I recall, it was $375 once they went virtual. Our parent org pays for one PD per year, so I chose this. I try to pick something expensive that I wouldn't pay for myself.

It works out nicely to not have to pay for travel expenses, since that's our responsibility.

So far, I've been very pleased with the presentations.

Lilbitkm, Iíll be taking you up on that. Iím going to miss Google so much. Everything syncs to Google. I love Google. Iím so sad. Plus, I donít understand paying for an LMS when Google is free.

You can link up to Google from Canvas either with a redirect or a direct link in Canvas.

Unless your district has specific ways they want you to set up and use Canvas.

If that is the case every one in my district will be jealous.
