Clip to ScrapBook #1

Students that ask "What time is it?" in the middle of instructional time really hit a nerve for me. On the one hand, I can understand them wanting to know how much more time in their least favorite class, and that many students today can't read analog clocks anymore. But it seems really disrespectful to ask a teacher in midsentence, basically: "How much longer do I have to listen to you?" Now that I'm putting this hotbutton into words, I think I'm finding a solution: post a digital clock, with clear instruction that the clock does not automatically dismiss them. Any other thoughts very welcome, please.
