Of course, being in early childhood the first thing you really teach the munchkins about reading is that stories stretch over pages. I have been using wordless books to show this. I have quite an extensive selection of books, but I was wondering if any of you had some good tried and true wordless books I could introduce. Some of my favorites include....Deep in the Forest, The gray lady and the Strawberry snatcher, The Wave, South, The Snowman, Pancakes, etc........

I love the book Circle of Friends (I can't remember the name of the author) and of course Tuesday by David Wiesner (or anything by him really).

Is a good book we use for WW. I teach 2nd, but one of my students showed it to their Kindergarten book buddy and they loved it!

I like the Red Book by Barbara Lehman.
