I'm working on my internship in a 3rd grade classroom. we will be discussing Lyndon B. Johnson next week and i am trying to find some hands on activities for the students. I need help with that. Thanks

I don't know anything about third grade, but some activities that spring to mind are:

make a time line of important events in his life, OR, sequence the major events in his life?

Read about an event in his presidency and then draw a picture of the main idea?

Create a symbol that represents what you know about him as a person or president?

Write a letter or email as if he were still the president, asking or commenting on the major events of his presidency?

make a campaign poster?
