Help me think of a bulletin board that combines both---please!!!!!!!

Hearts can be symmetrical. You could demonstrate other holiday symbols that are symmetrical and some that are not.

Take a pack of Valentine's Day cards and have the students analyze the word choices. Create a graph that shows the frequency of "love" "be mine" etc.

Do a glyph for Valentine's Day. Create a simple head shape for everyone then design a quiz. What is your favorite candy? If cinnamon hearts then draw a baseball hat, if candy hearts then draw a knit cap, if chocolate then draw a top hat. Choose different questions for eye shape, eyebrows, nose, ears, etc.

Nuts about Numbers ( perhaps tie in Ground Hogs Day with hearts)

What ______ Do You Know by Heart? ( Lends itself to math properties, formulas, etc. . .)

Valentine's Day speaks Volume. ( 3-d shapes with V=)

I really appreciate these ideas!! I think I might go with "Let Your Love of Math Multiply!" I like that a bunch! 😍

Depending on the age, I might even try drawing the shapes that are in hearts, such as the two half circles and the two right triangles and maybe make a game out of who can properly guess the area of all the hearts!
