Goals:
1. Eat more vegetables
2. EXERCISE!
3. work outside in the yard for a few minutes every day

Successes:
Honestly, the fact that I didn't gain any weight is a success!

Frustrations:
Too hot to exercise. I can only walk the dog for about 15 minutes before he starts panting and hanging back. I don't use air con, so it's hard to motivate myself to do a DVD. I haven't been biking to work because I'd get there all sweaty. I don't have a gym membership...maybe I should break down and join again.

Goals:
1. Every ten pounds a non-food reward!
2. To start riding the exercise bike REGULARLY!!!!!
3. Write down everything I eat--keep a daily journal

Successes: Drank lots and lots of water! Did keep track of all I ate.

Frustrations: Started Nutrisystem and couldn’t not cheat each day! This stuff is too expensive for me to be cheating! Never got on the bike---just walked by it and waved!

Goals:

Successes:
I lost a pound! I'm limiting portions - kind of
Last night when DH wanted to go for a malt I only had a single dip ice cream cone.
I've worked out 6 of the 7 last days.
Frustrations:
Eating is SOOOOO social. And I've been pretty social this summer.

Successes: I feel very good and healthy, no health problems, positive additude, energetic, love to workout!!

Frustrations: I love food! I get the munchies while watching tv at night, hubby is a late night popcorner (he's a slim man w/no weight worries) it's very hard to smell popcorn and not eat it!!

Successes: kept track of food each day, and worked out 5 days

Frustrations: I weighed myself 3 days in and had lost 2 lbs., so I was expecting a bigger number by the end of the week.

I just started this week due to a vacation to Oregon. So here are my stats:

Weight last week: 171

Current weight: 171

Weight lost/gained: 0

Goal by August 23: 160




Goals:
1. Be active every day!
2. Eat at home!
3. No sweet tea!

Successes: I ran a 5K last night in 45 minutes.

Frustrations: It's HOT! HOT! HOT! Therefore, I don't want to get outside and exercise. The fact that I have 3 dogs makes it hard to exercise inside b/c they want to participate as well.

Goal by August 23: 180 (10 weeks = 4 lbs/week)

Goals:
1. Exercise 5 days / week. I haven't started this yet, although I did get in lots of housework and Schlitterbahn.
2. Less dining out.(I should start saving the $ that I would normally spend for a family of 3). I ate out every other day, so this was cut back some.
3. Clean, organize, and declutter my house. Slowly but surely.

These are goals that I AM going to adhere to. I'm going to have a positive outlook for the remainder of the summer ... YES, I CAN do it! I am going to start the 30 Day Shred ... hearing good comments about it from this board!

Successes: I worked out 5 days last week and made drinking water a high priority. Not a huge fan of sodas anymore.

Frustrations: Snacking and making healthier food choices.

My scale died, but I did lose weight, if I am using the new scale, so right now I like the new scale.

Successes: I started walking on my treadmill again. I'm starting out slowly because I have had some foot/ankle problems for a long time.

Frustrations: I love to eat, and it's not always the best kinds of foods! I really didn't watch my food choices this week.

BMI: 20. 6

Goals:
1. Drink more water- it's so cliche but I really need to! I don't hardly ever drink it!
2. Work out or run 5X a week
3. Use Spark People to track daily calories and fitness

Successes: This past week I really worked out hardcore and ran 5 days. I also did a 5K last Sunday, which went well!

Frustrations: I hate the taste of water so I didn't drink hardly any. I've got to find something to flavor it with!!

Weight lost/gained: up 2 pounds.....yuck!

Goal by August 23: 135

Goals:
1. drink water at work (did pretty sucky at this last week)
2. cut it down to 1 soft drink a day (did HORRIBLY at this)
3. stop snacking at work (did really REALLY horribly at this)

Successes: Hmmm, I did drink water at work a couple times.

Frustrations: I don't think I really "started" the new round last week. I need to recommit myself this week. I need to get down to 135 by the end of summer!
