Advent Chain

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Last year there was a great "advent chain" activity that I got from PT. It had a bible verse on each "link" of a paper chain and the families could take one off and read it each day to prepare for the coming of Christ. I thought I saved it on my computer but I can't find it....can anyone find it and share it again?

CindyLynn's was exactly what I was looking for. I teach 6th grade and we made this with our Kindergarten buddies last year....it was a huge hit and I wanted to do it again. I will save it and keep a hard copy this year. I photocopied it on red and green paper and they patterned it, so we could work on multiple skills.

I just caught up on my PT "reading" and saw your post. I have my first graders make the chains on the first day of Advent. They take them home in a gallon-size ziploc bag that includes a letter from me explaining how to use the chain.
