Looking for something to supplement the traditional Pumpkin Pie for those who don't like pumpkin (and to have enough dessert to feed a crowd!).

I'm a lemon gal. I don't care much for the usual TG desserts, except for cranberry sauce.

I'll take a lemon cream pie or lemon bars over pumpkin, sweet potato, apple any day!

I usually do an apple pie and some kind of chocolate.

I'm not a fan of fruity desserts.

I like pecan pie but don't have a good recipe or I would make that.

Edit: oooh! I do like lemon bars. I think of them as more springy but would definitely enjoy that.

I prefer chocolate cream pie. I hate pumpkin pie. I like pecan pie.

My MIL insists that pumpkin pie and apple pie are the only qualifying desserts for Thanksgiving. Christmas is a peppermint ice cream pie.

In my house, and it took DH a long time to get on board because he's a mamma's boy, we mix it up. If I am cooking I will make a pumpkin pie because we do like it and its something that is only really enjoyed at Thanksgiving. A pumpkin pie in February or August just doesn't seem right. I have also made Chocolate Cream pie, Coconut Cream pie, apple crisp, or caramel cheesecake. This year DH accepted an invite to MILs home for Thanksgiving, without discussing it with me first, but I plan to make a cheesecake for at home sometime later in the weekend. Our 3 kids will be here from Wed to Sunday and I am so looking forward to it!! I have family favorites planned for the whole weekend. It has been so long since they have all been here.

DH is the pie maker and he does a geeat apple and some variations on apple pie. I make a killer pumpkin pie cheesecake with gingersnap crust. It's a nice blend of pumpkin and cheesecake.

I'm making an apple cobbler crumble that's really good. We've only ever had my grandma's pumpkin pie until my MIL announced she doesn't like pumpkin so I added an apple.

Well, alright! I think I will make a chocolate pie. I've never made a pie before and I think the only chocolate pie I've had is French Silk from Baker's Square as a kid. I'm looking at this one. I might make some chocolate chip cookies for the kids to enjoy, too. Although lemon bars are always hard for me to turn down, too.

We love both pumpkin and apple pie, so that's what we usually have. My favorite pie is blueberry, but don't usually have one this time of year. Has to be fresh, no canned fruit fillings...ugh

Not a pie fan, myself. DD makes one pumpkin pie only on Thanksgiving and I eat one piece.

We are cookies and ice cream people. Same DD makes killer chocolate chip cookies. Vanilla ice cream with a variety sauces.

Is there a Nothing But Bundt Cakes near you? They sell small ones (about one or two bites) in a whole plethora of flavors.

I'm making pumpkin pie, a cherry crumb pie, and a chocolate/cream cheese frozen pie.
