Printing leveled readers

Hi!

I have a question about printing leveled readers from reading a-z. Do you use regular paper, heavy weigh paper, or card stock? Iíd like them to last awhile since they take up so much ink.

TIA!

Card stock would be too much. Regular paper will work, but if you use the nicer quality rather than the cheap stuff, they will last longer.

regular paper, sheet protectors

I'd use regular paper, but then put them in sheet protectors.

If you have a laminator available, that would be another way to increase longevity. I've even done that with cheap two-pocket folders (sliced the pocket back open with a single scissors blade).

I print on regular paper and do one sided. It works fine and I don't have to figure out how to print double sided and then staple.. I'm just lazy and I'm sure it's easy.

I use regular paper, print two sided, flip on long edge. Then all you have to do is fold and staple.

Thanks!

How long do they last when they are printed on regular paper?

We have a laminators, but itís not a heated one, so the lamination is super thick.

So when I used to put them together, I would print the cover in color and laminate. Everything else is just regular paper. Then I use a long arm stapler to put them together. I've had my sets for 11 years.

I use regular paper, double sided and use fun duck tape to tape over the staples. The heavy duty tape helps them to last a lot longer.
