4 Digit by 4 Digit Multiplication Games

Does anyone have any 4 digit by 4 digit multiplication games to play with kids? For 2 digit they played a card game I found on TPT. For 3 digit, they did task cards around the room. Anything different/engaging/fun for 4 digit by 4 digit?

Hm. Does Marilyn Burns have anything on her web site or in one of her books? I'm at a loss to think of anything. You could always adapt an older game with the new, higher-level material...

You could make up some sheets with 8 squares in the proper positions and have then roll dice to fill in each digit and then solve the problem.

Dice game?

How about getting the multi-sided dice with numbers up to 9 on the sides. Kids could partner up. Give each pair of students 4 dice. One partner throws the dice, records the 4 digit number, tosses them again and records the second number then multiples the 2 numbers on paper while the other student checks the answer on a calculator. Then the other partner takes a turn. The winner of the round is the student with the higher or lower product.

Thanks for the ideas! We ended up playing running "relay" races. I put problems on one side of the gym, teams on the other, and they had to run to the other end, solve the problem and run back. The first team to finish and get them all correct won. It was fun. The students enjoyed it. It kept them active!
