Does anyone have issues with Adult ADD. Something I was recently tested for and with my history I must have had all through school and growing up. It is affecting me professionally and personally. I can remember details, I make errors, i cant remember where I put things. Its is stressing me out.

Does anyone else struggle with this and what are some things do you do to cope?

My husband has ADD. He is a totally different person on meds. Iím usually way more energetic than him, but when he is on the medication I canít keep up with him. Even he can tell a difference. He is happier and much more productive. My husband has also noticed his mind doesnít race like it does when heís off the medication.

I don't have ADD/ADHD, but my teammate does. She keeps her classroom sparsely decorated so she doesn't get overstimulated, just a few pretties and some kid work. She is super organized with her materials so she doesn't go crazy trying to find the black paint. She knows where everything is and puts things back in the right spot every time. She also uses LOTS of calendars and lists to keep track of to-dos.

I have adult ADD, but I've never been officially diagnosed.
However, I have a nasty combination of a very low noise tolerance and the inability to determine the source of noise. I can't walk with loose change in my pocket, so when the class is shouting just below the pain threshold, I go into a fog.

I have diagnosed Adult ADD but went off my meds this school year. The amount of noise from these classes was playing havoc with my "speed" meds and causing over-stimulation and anxiety. It's been rough but I'd rather deal with the ADD than feel like I'm crawling out of my skin from the noise level.
