Clip to ScrapBook #1

Anyone taken the SAT or ACT in order to qualify for the largest Best & Brightest award? I went to college as an older adult and didn’t have to take either. My route was community college to university. Am thinking of trying to test in order to increase my yearly pay. Would love to hear if anyone else has.

I am so lucky to have had a good day in high school years ago, so I have been able to receive the Best and Brightest for a few years. II had a friend who studied with her daughter last year and took it and passed. However, I hear that the governor is proposing a new plan...and that ACT/SAT scores would not be factored into that. So before you go to a lot of trouble, check that story out. Good luck if you do!

The new plan will not include test scores. I retook the ACT, passed, and received the extra 6K for the past three years. I do not support the whole bonus scheme, but when faced with that amount of money, I had to do it. Why do politicians think these things work. Just pay us a decent salary!
